UK
  • An undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related subject, typically at a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in the field may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • For further information about UK qualifications, please contact admissions.

For the first year of a full-time or sandwich undergraduate course, all students must apply through UCAS (University and Colleges Admissions Service). This includes mature, overseas, and EU students.

Most schools provide students with the option to apply electronically through the UCAS website. This can also be used by individuals applying independently within the UK and abroad. All relevant information regarding this facility and courses can be accessed on the UCAS website.

To enter a course the following autumn, be sure to submit your application to UCAS by 26 January. It is advisable to apply early for popular subject areas. Late applications can be submitted until the end of June.

If English is not your first language, you will need to show that you have an approved level of proficiency in English. The minimum requirements for this course are as follows:

  • IELTS minimum 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each individual component
  • TOEFL IBT minimum 80 with a minimum of 20 in each individual component

Before enrolling, we check your qualifications. If you are an international student, make sure to bring your original certificates or certified copies when you come to study at the University.

If you require a visa:

Please note that the English language requirements to attend Ludlow University and to obtain a visa from the Home Office may differ for international applicants. This means that even if you meet the Ludlow University language requirement to gain a place on the course, you may still need to meet further requirements to be granted a visa by the Home Office.

  • An undergraduate degree from a recognised institution, equivalent to a UK 2:1 or above in Aerospace Engineering or a related subject.
  • Equivalent qualifications from other countries will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • For further information about UK qualification equivalents, please contact admissions.
