Ludlow Mechanical Engineering degrees earn prestigious accreditation

Ludlow University’s BEng and MEng Mechanical Engineering programmes have achieved full accreditation from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), one of the UK’s foremost professional bodies.

The accreditation recognises the programmes’ academic excellence, industry relevance, and alignment with the educational requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. It reflects the department’s commitment to combining strong theoretical foundations with practical experience and professional skills.

Students benefit from hands-on learning, industrial placements, and project-based modules designed to prepare them for careers in manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and beyond.

This recognition is a milestone for our programme and a testament to our staff and students. It ensures that our graduates are fully equipped to enter the profession as confident, capable engineers.
