What you need to know

Before you travel

Arrival services

Our airport meet and greet service runs on key arrival days before the start of term. Staff and student ambassadors will help you find your way to campus, collect your accommodation keys and settle into your new home. If you’re arriving outside these dates, our online guides and 24-hour helpline are available to assist you.

Orientation week

Orientation week is your introduction to life at Ludlow. You’ll attend welcome talks, campus tours, and academic sessions, while meeting students from around the world. Events include a city tour, social evenings, and practical workshops to help you adjust to living and studying in the UK.

Settling in

During your first few weeks, you’ll receive help with essentials such as opening a bank account, registering with a doctor, and setting up digital access for university systems. We also run sessions on adapting to British culture and understanding academic expectations.

Ongoing support

Support doesn’t stop after orientation. Our international student team, peer mentors, and welfare advisors are available throughout the year to answer questions and help you feel at home. Whether you need academic advice, cultural guidance or just a friendly chat, someone is always here to help.
